Dr. J. Michael Bellamy

I am a native of the Carolinas, born in Lexington—the BBQ capital of the world.  I grew up in Florence, SC and in Asheville, NC.  I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988 with a degree in chemistry and again in 1992 as a doctor of dental surgery.  While in dental school I met my lovely wife, and in 1992 we moved to Charlotte.  We have three wonderful children, Cameran, Evan and Harrison, who never cease to keep us busy, entertained, and thankful for our many blessings. 

I consider myself one of the most fortunate people in the world to work in a profession that I love so dearly.  Through the years I have found my passion for dentistry continues to flourish, thanks to my fantastic staff, extraordinary relationships with my patients, and superior continuing education opportunities.  I can only hope that I return to my family of patients just as much satisfaction as I get from endeavoring to improve the quality of their lives.
